Must-Have Christian Book: Prayers for Emotional Wholeness by Stormie Omartian

Who loves to read books?

Raise your hand!

I do.

I used to read fictional books like Harry Potter etc.

It was a good but dark experience haha!

When I was in my highschool, I love to read adventure and romantic books.

But then after reading all those, the excitement and the feelings that brought with it don't really stay that long.

 It was just a passing moment of happiness and fun.

Good thing my Soul kept hungered for more.

 I wanted to read books that filled my mind and spirit.

So I chanced to read some self-help books, "How to be a millionaire" books, etc

 It did help lift my spirits up a bit, inspired and motivate me but like fiction, it just faded away.

Yep, I learned some but it just faded away and really didn't sink into my heart.

This time as my spirit digs deeper about the meaning of life and purpose,

Fast-forward to this day, now that I'm a Christian.

I have become more inclined to reading books about feeding my spirit up and bringing me more closer to Jesus. (oh by the way, this one I didn't buy this book. haaah!

It's my partner. I am just so blessed to have a partner who together, builds our faith up)

Yep. so to continue.

This is now my kind of books. As a Christian, you should be careful in feeding your mind and heart.

I highly recommend this powerful prayer book " Prayers for Emotional Wholeness" by Stormie Omartian.

When you read it, it's as if the prayers are coming from your heart.

That it speaks your heart out for you, talking to God personally.

And when after reading it, you feel that peace knowing that you are not alone.

It's really a beautiful feeling everytime...and this time it doesn't last.

 It stays with you, and somehow keeps reminding you of who you are in Christ.

So dear friends, get this book and it will really bless you.

Tanner, 4 yr old boy recites Alphabet with Powerful Bible verses

God bless this kid, Tanner and his parents for teaching him the best gift. And that is to know God and the Bible. I only memorised a few of these Bible verse and learning from this kid. Just WOW!

So I'm stuck this week at home, finishing up some deadlines and editing.

Thank You Jesus for all the favours that you've showered upon me.

I'm sorry if sometimes I'm so ungrateful and still worries a lot.

Sometimes I forget to praise You as my King and great Shephed.

You know, human problems and when fear creep in. It's really unhealthy.

I just thank You Jesus that you are so patient in loving me.

I'l all hands up to that.

I believe, You are not done with me yet. Even if I'm 47 years old. Yah you are not done with me yet.

Even if I'm a 100 years old. Still you are not done with me yet. Right Abba?

Okay dear friends..I'm gonna take a break for awhile and let's watch this together yah?

You know iphone/ smart phones are cool devices to help us get through our daily tasks.

We use it to communicate with our friends and loved ones anywhere in the world.

These days. iphone/smart phones are even used at work, like having whatsapp groups to update with

colleagues in a certain projects and daily work.

It's really revolutionising the way we manage our lives...especially social media life.

Now, I am sharing you one of my fave devotional apps, it's Joseph Prince' devotional app.

It's really handy in keeping your spirit and faith up. So I suggest dear friends, equipt yourself with this,

I have been building up my faith my reading, hearing Jesus' preachings like this.

and it's true, because it's in the Bible that says, "Faith comes from hearing and hearing the Word of God."  Romans 10:17

The Word of God doesn't come back to you void. Let us keep holding unto His promises until His purpose in us will manifest. Amen?

Jesus Took Your Place So That You Can Take His

Matthew 27:46
46And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?&rdquo
Do you know that it was at the cross that Jesus addressed His Father as “God” for the first time? He had always addressed His Father as “Father”. But at Calvary’s tree, He addressed His Father as “God”.
Jesus lost that Father-Son relationship when He was representing you and carrying your sins at the cross so that today, you can call God “Abba! Father!” (Romans 8:15) and have a loving father-son relationship with God forever. Jesus was forsaken by God and His world became very dark on that lonely hill so that in your darkest hour, God will always say to you, “I will never leave you nor forsake you!” (Hebrews 13:5)
At the time when Jesus needed God most, God turned His back on Him. God had to turn His back on His Son because His eyes are too holy to behold all the sin that was in His Son’s body. And because God turned His back on Jesus, He will never turn His back on you. Instead, you will see God’s face of favour shining on you all the time!
Jesus also took your place of no protection at the cross. For the first time, He gave up divine protection so that you can have it every day of your life! And because He became sin, He took your curse at the cross so that today, as you take His gift of righteousness, you receive only blessings from God.
Jesus received the full brunt of God’s wrath in His body once and for all when He carried your sins. All of God’s anger and condemnation fell on Him, consuming all your sins until God’s wrath was exhausted.
Today, God is not angry with you. The body of Jesus absorbed everything — your sins, curses, and God’s anger and condemnation. So live life expecting to see not the judgment, but the goodness and blessings of God

I needed to stop what I was doing to share this with you all.

Just now, I was in the midst of asking God for favours and provision

as I already started building His place of worship in our area.

It's just a 100sq meter place to build my house and at the 3rd floor will be

a lifegroup area where I can gather my neighbours and everyone who needs to hear about Jesus.

I am also aiming for the kids.

Anyways, yep. Just praying for God to open up and pour His favour upon me. Amen.

It's one my latest faves by the way.

This song speaks so much of my life ,  what I went through and have been going through.

Life has its twist and turns. I am thankful the last turn was with Jesus and now

He is shaping my life as He planned it to be.

My scars, pains, struggles and setbacks in life served as a "food" for me to come closer

and boldly to Jesus and Abba Father God.

It has made me what I am now.

There are still everyday challenges but I am assured that He will always pull me through.

So guys! Just give it all up to Jesus.

He is your rest in everything.

Let your pain, tears, fears, brokenness and hopelessness be a weapon to come boldly to Jesus

for protection, blessings of health, restoration and wisdom.

He will guide You and bless you because YOU ARE HIS BELOVED.

HE GAVE UP HIS LIFE FOR YOU AT THE CROSS and there is no way

He will withhold these earthly blessings to you.

These things have spoken in my heart today,

I am so glad I blogged it for you.

Now I can continue to do my work.
